Since these bullets operate on extremely small scales, it was difficult for the audience of the presentation to visualize the pathway by which the micro-bullets operated. I fell that the presentation was successful because I was able to answer questions from the audience members on topics that were not covered in the report. A criticism of the earlier drafts of our report was that it was disorganized and lacked flow, however, by communicating with my partner, we were able to make significant improvements in those areas.

PROJECT: THE USE OF ENGINEERED PERFLUOROCARBON MICRO-BULLETS FOR TARGETED DRUG DELIVERY

As part of my first-year engineering conference I summarized research on how a new form of technology called micro-bullets could be used to attack bladder cancer. The goal of this project was to show why perfluorocabon micro-bullets are cost effective, easily implementable, and superior to other forms of drug delivery.

My role on this project was to explain how the micro-bullets functioned.

While writing the report was time-consuming and mentally taxing, the end result was worth the labor because I was teaching people a new approach towards solving society's problems.
